House Rules
Clear and essential information to ensure a respectful and comfortable stay at Casa sulla Baia.
Introduction
By confirming a reservation at Casa sulla Baia, guests agree to the following house rules and terms. The person making the reservation is responsible for all accompanying guests.
Booking & Payment
Rates are expressed in euro (€) and refer to the entire property for the agreed period, up to 4 guests.
The price includes utilities, bed linen, bathroom linen and standard services.
A deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance must be paid before check-in.
For bookings made within 21 days prior to arrival, full payment is required.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival (45 days in July and August) are eligible for a 50% refund.
No refund is provided for cancellations made after these deadlines.
Security Deposit & Damages
A security deposit is required and will be refunded after check-out, subject to inspection of the property.
Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage or loss occurring during their stay.
Replacements must be of equivalent quality.
During the Stay
Guests are kindly asked to check the property upon arrival and report any issues within 24 hours.
The house must be kept in good condition throughout the stay. Furniture must not be moved.
At check-out, the kitchen and dishes must be left clean and orderly. The refrigerator and trash must be emptied.
Occupancy & Visitors
The maximum occupancy is 4 persons, including children.
No additional guests or visitors are allowed without prior authorization.
Organizing parties or events is strictly prohibited.
Keys
Making duplicate keys is strictly prohibited.
In case of key loss, a €150 reimbursement will be required.
Smoking & Outdoor Use
Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Outdoor areas may be used responsibly.
It is strictly forbidden to install or fill pools or similar equipment on the terrace. The use of barbecues, candles or any open flames on the seafront side of the property is not permitted for safety reasons.
Noise & Respect
Guests are required to respect quiet hours, particularly during the night.
Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
Liability
Casa sulla Baia cannot be held responsible for temporary interruptions of essential services such as electricity or water.
The owner declines responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings within the property.
Legal Information
Personal data are processed in accordance with applicable Italian data protection laws.
Any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Catania.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.
